Joanne LaManna-Chasse, 52, of Bristol, CT passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Ronald Chasse.
Joanne was born in Bristol, CT on December 11, 1962, a daughter of Joseph F. LaManna and the late Angelina “Lee†(Fiorente) LaManna. She was a member of St. Anthony Church and a loving wife and a devoted mother. Joanne loved family holidays, the beach, cooking and spending time on her front porch with her friends and family.
Beside her husband and father she is survived by, her 5 children Christopher Cerniglia, Amanda Cerniglia, Garrett Cerniglia, Aimee-Lee Chasse, Allison Chasse, a step daughter Ashlee Noel and 3 grandchildren, Aubrey Cerniglia, Gavin and Avery Noel. A brother, Jason and his wife Shelby LaManna plus niece, Olivia, and nephews, Jacob and Andrew LaManna. Joanne was also a godmother and “Auntie Jo Jo†to Paige and Taylor Bancroft and “sister at heart†to Geri Bancroft and best friend to many more.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Church in Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours.
