Dorothy "Dotty" (Mott) Massicotte, 67 of Bristol, CT passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center. She was the wife of Steven P. Massicotte. Dorothy was born in Bath, Maine, on August 1, 1953, the daughter of Anna (Davis) Mott and the late Donald W. Mott, Sr.  Her family moved from Maine to Meriden when she was 10 and lived in Wolcott  and then Bristol after marrying Steve. She worked as a dedicated and caring CNA formany years in several area  Nursing Homes. She was very talented and creative at sewing and loved to dance. She had a huge heart and always cared for others over herself. Besides her husband an mother, she is survived by two sons, Jason Bonvisuto of Bristol and Justin Bonvisuto of Michigan and stepchildren, Steven and Kayleigh Massicotte, both of Bristol. A brother, Scott Sheehan of Middletown, her sister, Carol Ackley  of Wolcott. four grandchildren, Sedona, Savannah, Selina and Alex. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Donnie P. Mott and Donny A. Mott. Service will be held on Sunday, May 24th at 2:30 PM with Reverend Christopher Adames officiating. Friend may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St. Bristol from 1:00 PM until time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience.
