Wylene Lynn "Sunny" (McPherson) Tyler
Wylene Lynn "Sunny" (McPherson) Tyler, 52, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010, at Bristol hospital, with her family by her side. She was born Sept. 27, 1957, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Hobart McPherson and the late Edna (Young) McPherson. She graduated from Glastonbury High School in 1975, where she was captain of the majorettes then attended two years at Bay Path Collage to pursue her love for the theater of arts. She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Gary Tyler; two daughters, Allyson Guilmette and Laura Tyler, all of Bristol; an older sister, Leetrice Dean; niece and nephew, Jenny and Brian Dean of Ohio; mother and sister-in-law, Mary and Joan Tyler; close friend, Andy Aubin; and her beloved dog, buddy, all from Bristol. Her passion in life was her children. To always put them first and be the best mother she could be, in which she always succeeded. She enjoyed going to the beach, cooking family dinners and over all just being a Mom. Wylene will remain in are hearts as funny, energetic ball of sunshine she always was. She will be forever loved and missed terribly. Contribution can be made to the family and sent in C/O Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, CT 06010.
