Vincent Partick Murray

Vincent P. Murray, 92, of Rocky Hill, CT passed away October 15, 2015 in Farmington. He was the husband of the late Stephanie (Zima) Murray.

He was born in Bristol, CT on November 5, 1922, the son of the late James P. and Theresa (Tobin) Murray.

He attended Bristol Schools and enlisted in the US Navy as soon as he came to age. He was a jet engine mechanic stationed in CA during WW II , returning planes back to service. He returned to Bristol after an honorable discharge marring Stephanie and resided in Farmington. He was a mechanic and drove for Gulf /Chevron Oil Co. and operated Murray Truck Sales for many years. He was the father of 7 children.

Beside his wife he is pre-deceased by a daughter, Patricia, and 4 brothers, Maurice, Raymond, Francis and Thomas.

Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery Bristol, CT.

Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol was in charge of the arrangements.
