Vincent A. Kovalski, 96, formerly of Fairfield Street, Bristol, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol. He was the widower of Antoinette (Pozzi) Kovalski. Vincent was born in Plymouth Sept. 20, 1911, the son of the late Joseph and Joanna (Dombroska) Kovalski. He worked for many years at E. Ingraham Co. before he retired more than 30 years ago. He was a member of St. Anthony Church. He is survived by a son, Robert Kovalski and his wife, Joyce Kovalski, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Barbara Normand and her husband, Gary, of Springfield, Vt.; three grandchildren, David Normand, Michelle Kucia and Tracey Daley; and three great-grandchildren, Bethany, Daniel and David Kucia. He was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Kovalski, and two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
