Our beloved Stella passed into the arms of the Lord.
Stella M.(Kempi) Rao, 93 of Bristol, passed away July 4, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital, she was the widow of Nicholas Rao.
Stella was born in Torrington on November 24, 1920 the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Greblewski) Kempi. She lived most of her life in Bristol and was a member of St. Matthews Church.
Stella is survived by 2 nieces and a nephew and a large circle of friends who loved her dearly.
She is predeceased by 2 sisters, Mary and Helen, and 3 brothers, George, Joseph and John.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 am from Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol to St. Matthews Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 8:30 to 9:30 AM .
