Stanley A. Szynkowicz

Stanley A. Szynkowicz,  of Bristol, passed away at his home after a brief illness on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was the husband of the late Shirley Ann (Finney) Szynkowicz.
 

Mr. Szynkowicz was born in Duryea, PA on June 6, 1934 the son of the late John and Helen (Grabowski) Szynkowicz. 
He was a retired veteran serving in the Air Force. After he retired from the Air Force he worked at New Departure Hyatt Division of General Motors and Caldor Department store. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and was very active with the Boy Scouts for over 30 years.

Stanley is survived by a son, Stanley F. Szynkowicz of Bristol; two daughters, Virginia Catherine Camarena of Mentone, Calif. and Barbara E. Szynkowicz of Bristol;  a brother, Bernard Szynkowicz of Florida,  six grandchildren, Diana Schertz, Seth Szynkowicz, Jessica, Josiah and Christopher Trinidad and Jonathan Graziano; 2 great grandchildren, Belen Perez and Steven Trinidad, plus several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by a son, John Matthew Szynkowicz, who passed away April 9, 1999.
 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Church 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St. Bristol on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Burial will follow with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital Memphis, TN 38105.
