Stanley Ostrowski, 62, of 49 Merriman St., Bristol, died from injuries sustained in a car accident in Hartford early Tuesday, March 3, 2009. He was the husband of Angela (Cossu) Ostrowski. Stanley was born in Salzgitter, Germany, Dec. 30, 1946. He was a resident of Bristol for 15 years. He belong to the National Guard and was employed by RAA Greenfield Transportation at the time of the accident. He was a member of Family Christian Worship Center in Meriden. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and two daughters; a stepdaughter, Pauline Bissonnette of Bristol; a brother, Henry Ostrowski, of Cromwell; and sister, Christine Sitkiewicz, of Colchester; five grandchildren, Michael, Cynthia, Ron, Ernest and Patrick; and two great-grandchildren, Dylon and Nicholas. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, with the Rev. Gordon McCarthy, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
