Shannon Corinna Roche

Shannon Corinna Roche, 40, of Bristol, CT passed away December 12, 2016 in Hartford.
Shannon was born in Bristol, CT on April 14, 1976, a daughter of Tina (Roche) Yard and the late Raleigh Jenkins.
She was an energetic child who excelled in gymnastics. As a young woman she fell in love with writing. She has been published in Oprah Winfrey magazine among other publications, and worked with author Wally Lamb on a few projects. She was a creative artist and had a deep love for her family and friends.
Beside her mother she is survived by, a daughter, Asia Russell a grandson, Liam Russell, her sisters Erica Yard and Crystal Jenkins. She also survived by her maternal grandfather, George Roche and paternal grandmother, Jane Jenkins.
 
A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Nuchies Restaurant 164 Central St. Forestville, CT 06010. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Please go to WWW.gofundme.com/OurmostlovedShannon to help with cost.
