Richard L. Usher, Sr.

Richard L. Usher, Sr., 81, of Bristol, CT, passed away on Sunday, December 14th, at Ingraham Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Taylor) Usher.
Richard was born in Bristol, CT on January 15, 1933, a son of the late Helen (Gorman) Usher and Olin Usher.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class in the Korean War. Richard Worked at New Departure for several years before he retired in 1995.
He was an avid, Bingo Player, Boston Red Sox, New York Giant and Uconn Fan.
Richard is survived by, his son, Richard L. Usher, Jr. and a step-son Thomas McCarron, a step-daughter, Sue Ann Wood and 2 brothers, Jim and Ronald, 3 sisters, Grace, Hazel and Carol.
several grandchildren and great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by his brothers and sisters, Olin, Jr., Donald , Robert, Edna, Helen, Joan and Linda.
Memorial Service at Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 19th, .
Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Bristol, CT.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday form 10:00 AM until time of the service.
