BRISTOL - Richard J. Michaud, 36, of 14 Lincoln Place, Bristol, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007, at New Britain Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Bristol, Aug. 19, 1970. Richard leaves behind many friends and family that love and will greatly miss him, his father and mother, Joel A. and Rita L. (Bernier) Michaud of Bristol; two brothers, Roger Michaud and his wife, Margaret Schiller, of New Jersey, Donald and his wife, Mary Ellen Michaud, of Bristol; two sisters, Rachel Michaud, Diane and her husband, Mark Brooks, of Bristol. He also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews; Heather and Stephanie Michaud, Jennifer and Dana Brooks, Matthew and Madeleine Michaud and Jordaan Diyulio. He was a member of St. Anthony Church. Rich was known to his family as the computer wiz. He had a talent for working with computers and all sorts of electronics. He was a very funny and always had a new joke for everyone. He brought a great deal of happiness to all. Richard's courageous struggle, bravery and determination during the difficult time touched the hearts of many who had the privilege of spending time with him. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 11 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian burial at noon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
