Peter P. Spinelli, 90, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday (February 19, 2008), at Sheriden Woods in Bristol, he was the beloved husband of Angelina (Pasqualicchio) Spinelli for over 67 years. Peter was born in Waterbury on May 22, 1917 son of the late Louis and Philomenia (Pennachia) Spinelli. He was a longtime member of St. Anthony Church. He retired from Pratt & Whitney in Southington in 1980 after 30 years of distinguish service, and was proud of receiving a citation at work for saving a little girl's life. Besides his wife he is survived by a son Robert Spinelli; 3 daughters, Judy and her husband Jim McCrystal of Rhode Island, Deanna and her husband Jim Kinch of Plainville Arlene and her husband Peter Bergan of East Hampton, 8 Grandchildren, Kathy, Lynette, Dan, Melanie, Tracy, Heidi, Peter and Adam and 10 Great grandchildren. He was an avid Hartford Whalers fan, Yankee fan and was a Wood working master craftsman. Private funeral and burial will be held on Thursday.
