Pauline (Janick) Rutkowski, 99, of Bristol, passed away at The Bristol Hospital on Aug. 5, 2013. She was the widow of Alexander Rutkowski.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1914, in New Britain, the daughter of the late Ignatz and Josefin (Rydzinanowys) Janick. She lived her life the Bristol area. She was self employed in a family business for many years in New Britain.
She is survived by a son, Ronald and his wife, Helena, Rutkowski, of Burlington; and a daughter, Diane R. and her husband, Daniel F. Harrigan, of Southington; and a sister, Claira Darigis, of Berlin; also Seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, and two sisters.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, CT 06010, is in charge of arrangements.
