Nunsey Carrano

Nunsey Carrano, 87, of Bristol, CT, passed away, Wednesday, August 5th, at The Pines of Bristol. He was the husband of the late Mary (Clarke) Carrano.
Nunsey was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 4, 1928, son of the late John and Catherine (Schmidt) Carrano.
Nunsey is survived by sons, Roy Carrano of Burlington, Michael Carrano and Kris Carrano from Bristol. Daughters, Patricia Riccio of East Hampton and Barbara Stout of Southington. He was pre-deceased by a son John who passed away in 2002.
He leaves seven grandchildren, Kelly, Paul, Marc, Melissa, Matthew, Martin and Anthony, and eight great grandchildren, Noah, Cory, Ryan, Eli, Issac, Tai, Nicholas and Madison. He had many friends and will be missed by them all.
Prior to retirement in 1990, Nunsey worked for 20 years for the city of Bristol in the Park Department.
He was a member of West End Athletic Club.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory The Great Church, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol is in charge of the Arrangements.
