Mrs. Mary A."Nana"(O'Connell) Napolitano, 99, of 287 Peck Lane, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005, at Sheriden Woods Health Care. She was the widow of Lucian "Nuchie" Napolitano.
She was born January 16, 1905 in Glace Bay, Canada,the daughter of the late John and Mary (McPhee) O'Connell.
She was a longtime resident of Bristol and a member of St. Anthony Church.
Mrs. Napolitano is survived by a son, Patrick Napolitano, Sr. of Bristol; a sister, Nora Greg of Canada; two grandchildren, Patrick Napolitano Jr. and his wife, Maria and Debra Bachman and her husband, Chris; four great-grandchildren, Brett and Mitchell Bachman and Brandon and Chelsea Napolitano; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
