Mrs. Mary V. (Velardo) Hamelin, 88, of Bristol, passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Sheriden Woods Convalescent Home. She was the wife of Raymond Hamelin.
She was born in Bristol, CT on March 29, 1923 the daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia Velardo.
Mary lived in Bristol her whole life and worked at New Departure.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Paul and his wife Janice Hamelin of Southington, James and his wife Donna Hamelin of Florida, Rodney and Roger Hamelin of Bristol. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Rose Baldaccini of Bristol and a brother John Velardo and his wife Irene of Terryville
Services are private at the convenience of family.
