Mr. John (Jack) G. Nicholson
Bristol, Mr. John (Jack) G. Nicholson, 81, of 182 Shrub Road Bristol and Dudley Lane in Madison, CT. passed away Wednesday a€" November 12, 2003 at the Bristol Hospital.
He was the widower of Dorothy C. (Chiarillo) Nicholson.Mr. Nicholson was born in New Castle, England on November 20, 1921 the son of the late Robert and Mary (Geary) Nicholson.
John was a resident of Manchester for over 30 years moving to Bristol 28 years ago. A veteran of WW II US Navy. Jack worked for Aetna for over 40 years before he retired 16 years ago. He was a member of East Hartford Golf Club and for the past 25 years Pequabuck Golf Course.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Robert and Trish Nicholson of Dillon, Colorado.
A Daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Paul Butler of Bristol.
A brother Chaplain Donald Nicholson of Bradenton, Fl.
2 Grandchildren Kevin and Shannon Butler.
Several nephews and nieces and his special friends "Red" "Billy" "Bub" and "Masci".
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 Am with his brother Chaplain Donald Nicholson officiating. Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol, CT on Saturday from 9:00 until time of service.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
