Maura E. (Pratt) Micari
Terryville, Our Angel Maura E. (Pratt) Micari, 40, of 30 Seymour Rd., Terryville, passed away on Monday November 3, 2003 at Bristol Hospital after a courageous battle against cancer and was summoned back to Heaven. Her husband Michael T. Micari and her entire family were by her side.
She was born in Bristol on October 4, 1963 the daughter of Francis and Elizabeth (Graziano) Pratt.
Maura graduated from Central High School and worked at Uconn Medical Center in Farmington. She was very active in St. Joseph Church, as a cantor, a choir member and as a Faith Partner. She was also very active in many of the areas Civic Theaters.
Besides her husband of Terryville and her parents of Plainville she is survived by her paternal grandmother Norma (Parks) Pratt of Bristol and her paternal grandfather Arthur Pratt of Maine; a sister Alyson Leonard of Plainville; her niece, Morgan; and her nephew, Nicholas Micari, her in-laws, Robert and Diana Micari; and brother and sister-in-law William and Sandy Micari; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am from Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 a€" 8 PM.
