PLYMOUTH - Mary (O'Donnell) Pirog Walden, 63, of 10 Prospect St. Ext., Terryville, passed away surrounded by her loving family and angels Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Bristol Hospital. She was the wife of Jan P. (Skip) Walden. She was born in Bristol Oct. 23, 1943, the daughter of the late James F. and Regina (Dzialdowski) O'Donnell. She was a resident of Terryville and Bristol her whole life. She worked at O-Z/Gedney for 11 years before she retired in 2001. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey Pirog and his wife, Romina, of California; her first husband, Alvin F. Pirog of Waterbury; three brothers, James O'Donnell of Terryville, and Leo O'Donnell and Stanley O'Donnell, both of Bristol; three sisters, Connie Smith of West Hartford, Millie Brown of Southington and Regina Duval of Bristol; and one granddaughter, Jerrica Boutot; plus several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christine Boutot.
Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, Monday, June 25, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 27 Judd St., Bristol.
