Mary (Valentine) Kempf, 93, of 310 Shrub Road, Bristol, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of Henry Kempf. She was born in New Britain Dec. 7, 1915. She is survived by a daughter, Susan and her husband, Joseph Rushkowski, of Bristol; a son, Brian Kempf and his wife, Conni Clough, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jim Rushkowski, Julie Kempf, Jennie Kempf and Michael Kempf; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Dylan, Ethan and Lia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Matthew Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
