Marion E. (Riccio) Ritondo
BRISTOL - Marion E. (Riccio) Ritondo, 79, of 20 Bel-Air Drive, Bristol, passed away Monday, March 26, 2007, at Walnut Hill Care Center. She was the widow of Dominick J. Ritondo. Marion was born in Bristol, Oct. 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and Vero (Lilley) Riccio. A lifelong resident of Bristol, she and her husband were the owners of Edward Shoe Store for more than 35 years. They retired in 1992. Her grandfather was the founder of the store. She was a member of St. Matthew Church. She is survived by two sons, John Ritondo of Bristol and Anthony Ritondo of Southington; a daughter, Denise Plourde of Plainville; two brothers, Edward Riccio of Burlington and Richard Riccio of Bristol; five grandchildren, Brenda Jannotta, Bryan Deprey, Kyle Ritondo, Alex Ritondo and Sarah Ritondo; and four great-grandchildren, D.J., and Griffin Deprey and Eleanor and John Jannotta; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 9 a.m. from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Matthew Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
