Maria (Colapinto) Wojenski
Maria (Colapinto) Wojenski, formerly of Judson Avenue, passed away April 11, 2012, at Sheriden Woods. She was the widow of Victor Wojenski.
She was born in Northampton, Mass., the daughter of the late Girolamo and Giacomina (Gatti) Colapinto.
She was a resident of Bristol most of her life and worked at New Departure Hyatt Division of General Motors for several years. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, Polish Legion of American Veterans and Bristol Citizen Center.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannette M. Andelin of Bristol and a son, John and his wife Susan Wojenski of Southington; two sisters, Grace Fistola of Wolcott and Christina Perras of Bristol; a sister in-law, Gladys Colapinto of Wolcott and a brother in-law Joseph and his wife Annsue; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Angelina Kulasenski and Nellie Colapinto, and two brothers, Peter Colapinto and John Colapinto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.
