Margaret (Albee) Holmes
Margaret (Albee) Holmes, 96, formerly of Wolcott, passed away peacefuuly Saturday, at Ingraham Manor. She was the widow of Frederick Holmes. She was born in Milltown, New Brunswick, Canada July 20, 1913, the daughter of the late Henry E. and Adelaide M. (Armstrong) Albee. She moved to Wolcott in 1945 and was a member of St. Anthony Church. She is survived by a brother William Albee; seven grandchildren, Randy, Todd, Scott and Michelle Holmes, Tammy and her husband, Lyle Hill, Robin and her husband, Arthur Hislop, and Carmine Gigliotti; four great-grandchildren, Lyle David and Nickolas Hill and Sara Hislop; and a great-great-grandson, Damien Hill. She was predeceased by four sons, William, David Paul and Peter Holmes; a daughter, Carol Gigliotti; plus three grandchildren, David, William and Meghan Holmes. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010, at noon in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of the arrangements. www.dunnfh.com
