Lucille Duncan

April 14, 1921 — July 24, 2014

Lucille (Salvas) Duncan, left this earth peacefully, Thursday, July 24, 2014 to join her husband, James J. Duncan and pre-deceased  family amongst the angels in heaven. After 93 years of residing in Bristol, Lucille leaves behind 4 loving children, James J Duncan, Robert F. and his wife Debra Duncan of Bristol and Richard J. Duncan of Plainville. A daughter, Patricia and her husband Steven Shields of Bristol. Plus seven loving grandchildren, Amy Lou, Michael, Hollie, Dow, Melissa, Heather and Dalton plus for adorable great-grandchildren, Molly, Kaleigh, Sam and Jessie. Lucille also leaves behind a sister, Madeline Roberts of Bristol and numerous nieces and nephews.
During the hours preceding her departure, Lucille was surrounded by her loving family who shared wonderful memories of her card playing abilities along with her open minded ability to share life, great meals, laughter and lots of love while caring for her grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Felix and Helen (Joyal) Salvas.

She worked at the former E Ingram company for 20 years before she retired to take care of her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 28, 2014 at St. Matthew's Church at 10:00 AM. Friends may call Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St., Bristol, CT on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol Connecticut.
