Mrs. Linda E. (Bobroske) Dubnansky, 86, formerly of Roberts St., Bristol, passed away on Tuesday, (October 17, 2006) at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol. She was the widow of John Dubnansky. She was born on October 29, 1919 in Bristol, the daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Schaffrick) Bobroske. Mrs. Dubnansky was a member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, and graduated from local schools. She was a friendly and always smiling person, who touched many hearts. She had a fond affection for knitting, sewing and cooking. She is survived by two sons, Gary J. and his wife Brenda Dubnansky, of Bristol; Reverend Wayne D. and his wife Anne Marie Dubnansky of NC; a brother Gerhardt and his wife Beverly Bobroske, of Bristol; and two sisters, Eleanor Rinas of New Britain and Doris Rinas of Bristol; three grandchildren, Jean Marie and Claire Dubnansky, and Jason and his wife Amy Dubnansky; plus several nieces and nephews. Linda is pre-deceased by a grandson Cory Dubnansky; and two sisters Agnes B. Poglitsch and Lydia Kisser. The Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1125 Stafford Ave., Bristol. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 96 Oak Street, Hartford, CT 06106. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of the arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Nursing Care Center of Bristol for the personal care and attention given to Linda for the past two years.
