Kenneth Mantei

Kenneth M. Mantei, 85, of Bristol, Connecticut, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born on June 21, 1940, in Bristol, Connecticut the son of the late Fred and Wanda (Zabel) Mantei.

Mr. Mantei was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Suzanne Mantei, and his sons, Michael Mantei and his stepson Thomas Cyr.

He is survived by a stepson, Wiliam Cyr and his wife Laura of Wallingford, 2 stepdaughters', Paulyne Cyr of Bristol and Laura Brzozowski and her husband Bill of Ellsworth, Maine

A reserved and private individual, Mr. Mantei was not known for outward displays of affection toward others, preferring solitude and the companionship of his pets.

His greatest joy was found in caring for his cats, Farrah, Sheba, Little One, Kitty Cat, and Shirley, whom he regarded as loyal and cherished companions. He tended to their needs finding comfort and purpose in their presence.

As for Kenneth wishes funeral and burial will be private.
