She worked for 39 years at Bristol Savings Bank and briefly at Webster Saving Bank. Joan held the position of secretary to the president of Bristol Savings Bank for over 20 years, in charge of social events as well as financial responsibilities. All who knew her at the bank will remember her vivacious and friendly personality… the girl with the beautiful smile. Her favorite charity was Bristol Boy's and Girl's Club. She was a life time honorary member at Pequabuck Golf Club and at one time she held the office of President of the Pequabuck Golf Club Women's Organization. Besides her loving husband of more than 43 years, Al, and her mother, with whom she had not only a mother-daughter relationship but her bestfriend relationship, she leaves a brother, Joseph Dziubek; her mother and father-in-law Alfred and Jennie Monico; her sisters-in-law Barbara Krol and Linda DiYulio and her husband, Roy; her aunts and cousins whom she loved.
Joan will be remembered and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. As Joan leaves her family and friends to meet her Lord, her pain and suffering will be gone. Their memories will sustain us through this sad time.
