Mrs. Jill (Pinette) Therrien, 71, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at home and entered into God’s Kingdom of Heaven, once again reunited with her parents and with her forever special pet “Meena” on February 11, 2026. She was the loving and devoted wife and partner of Todd Therrien for 45 years who was her high school sweetheart, love of her life and forever soulmate. Jill was the most caring and giving person to all those whose lives she touched and she will forever be missed but never forgotten. Jill was born in Waterbury, CT on January 26, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Everett H. and Phyllis (Charette) Pinette. She was a dedicated CNA at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol for 43 years later known as “The Pines.” She devoted her entire working life to taking care of the infirmed and terminally ill. Jill was a dedicated and compassionate caregiver, with a loving and caring demeanor, passionate about giving aid and comfort to the elderly, their families and loved ones. She displayed this same caring and kindness in all that she did and to everyone she came in contact with, giving so much of herself, with much personal sacrifice, unselfishly, always more concerned about others and their feelings than of herself. This is what made her a truly remarkable human being. A dedicated family person and true and loyal friend she was most happy spending time with her family and close friends.
Besides her husband, Jill is survived by her brother Scott “Buddy” Pinette of Florida, her special nephew Colby Pinette and his wife Julie, niece Meryl Mastandrea and husband Jeb, and nephew Evan Pinette along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by special Aunts Karen Aufiero and Francis Charette and by her best friend Sharon George and special cousins Kim Powers and Jennifer Aufiero.
