Jean C. Nash

Jean Nash,97,of Wolcott passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026 at The Pines of Bristol. She was the widow of Aubrey R. Nash, Jr.

She was the youngest of 9 children of Fred and Willie Ball and was born on July 26, 1929 in Athens, West Virginia.

Jean and her husband moved to Connecticut from West Virginia in 1953 and eventually settled in Wolcott in 1964 where she resided until her passing. Jean was dedicated to her family and focused much of her life on raising her 4 children. In her spare time, she was a passionate gardener and loved her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved doing jigsaw puzzles and many activities at the Wolcott Senior Center.

She is survived by 2 sons, Mark Edwards Nash and David Allen Nash both of Bristol, two daughters, Robin Terry Nash of Wolcott and Karen Nash Mirkin and her husband, Scott David Mirkin of PA, and grandson, Harrison Ross Mirkin.

She was predeceased by a son, Michael W. Nash.

Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St. Bristol on Sunday August 30th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in West Virginia at a later date.
