Jean J. (Segretario) Escalante, 73, of Bristol passed away, Feb. 3, 2013, at the Amberwoods convalescent home. She was the wife of John F. Escalante Sr.
Jean was born in Hartford on Oct. 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Santina (Leone) Segretario.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, John M. Escalante of Bristol; a daughter, Leslieann Escalante of Jacksonville, Fla; a brother, Anthony Segretario of Mashpee, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling Hours are Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
