George R. Churchill

Mr. George Robert Churchill, 93, of Bristol, passed away July 16, 2023 at home.  He was the husband of the late Alice W. (Wimler) Churchill. 

George was born in Bristol on October 15, 1929 the son of the late      Benjamin and Stella (Maroski) Churchill.    

A life-long Bristol resident, George served in the Army during the Korean Campaign.

He worked at E. Ingraham Company and retired as a supervisor at New Departure, Hyatt Division of General Motors.

He was a member of American Legion Post 2 in Bristol.

He is survived by a brother, Raymond Churchill, 2 Grandchildren, Erin Bourgoin, and Randy Kapacziewski and 5 Great Grandchildren, William, James, Christopher Bourgoin, Cody and Wyatt Kapacziewski

He is predeceased by wife Barbara (Kohl) Churchill, a son, Gregory Churchill and a Daughter, Kathy Metzger, Stepson, William Kapacziewski, Jr. and grandsons , Joseph Kapacziewski and Jerry Raymond. 

Private graveside service will be held in West Cemetery.
