Frank Orlando, 72, of Bristol, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Bristol Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Arlene (Mika) Orlando.
Frank was born in Waterbury, CT on May 22, 1952, son of the late Joseph and Ann (Nardella) Orlando. He went to Crosby High School and worked for ShopRite for 35 years from which he retired in 2017.
Frank's heart was with his family. He always made sure they were cared for and most of all, happy. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, Ethan and Elliot, and watching them play soccer. Christmas was his favorite holiday. He loved many Christmas songs and movies, but most of all, he enjoyed watching Ethan and Elliot open Christmas presents. He loved family gatherings and parties where he could reminisce and tell stories of the good ole days. He loved Italian food, but nothing compared to his sisters' homemade sauce and cookies. Frank was a lifelong 49ers and Yankees fan. He enjoyed the trips to see the games.
Besides his beloved wife of 45 years who he met while working at Two Guys, he leaves two daughters, Wendy and her husband Erin Rand of Plymouth and Kelly Orlando of Bristol and her boyfriend, Seanan Muzzulin. His grandsons, Ethan and Elliot Rand; two brothers, Joseph Orlando, Jr. and his wife Jayne and James Orlando; four sisters, Joanne Rubbo and her late husband William, Debra and her husband Anthony Miele, Donna and her husband John Santopietro and Linda Smolinski and her late husband Mark. Several nieces, nephews and cousins plus his two grand dogs, Bayley and Salvatore.
