Francis J. Fazio Sr., 57, of 264 Wolcott St., Bristol, died tragically Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, in Manchester.
He was the husband of Patricia (Dovitski) Fazio. Fran was born in Waterbury Sept. 3, 1952, the son of the late Frank and Basilla (Pirro) Fazio. A lifelong resident of Bristol, he was employed by Hartford Distributors of Manchester for 28 years. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church.
Besides being a devoted husband, he was a wonderful father to his son, Francis J. Fazio Jr. of Torrington; and daughter, Gina Fazio of Plainville; and two brothers, Robert Fazio, with whom he lived, and Richard Fazio of Southington. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, cousins and a lot of friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at 10 a.m., at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bristol. Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol, CT 06010.
