Edward Stryeski Sr.
Edward Stryeski Sr., 81, of Wolcott Road, Bristol, died Aug. 15, 2009, at Bristol Hospital. He was the husband of the late Jessie (Strahowski) Stryeski. Edward was born in Wolcott Aug. 9, 1928, the son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Kovaleski) Stryeski. A resident of Bristol area his whole life and was employed by Associated Spring for over 20 years before he retired in 1987. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and the Bristol Polish American Club. He is survived by a son, David Stryeski of Bristol and a daughter, Cindy Cassineri of Farmington; eight grandchildren, Michele, Lisa, Beth, Jake, Alex and Max Stryeski, Michael Cassineri and Julie Migliorisi; plus four great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a son, Edward Stryeski Jr., and a daughter, Nancy Dillon. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of the arrangements.
