Cindy and Dave, my deepest sympathies on the passing of your Dad. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known and your late Mom and Ed were a very big part of my life when I was so young - I will never forget the kindness they extended to me.

Cindy and Family... So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember him and your mother well. In case you don't remember me, Fred Green was my uncle...

Jake, Ed's grandson in Minnesota, just found on the internet his grandfather's obituary. Though separated by miles and didn't get to see him much, Ed's grandsons Jake, Alex and Max and their mother Jackie held Ed dear in their hearts. He had such a great sense of humor!

Death is something that we will never get use to because God's Word refers to it as 'the last enemy'. May you find comfort in knowing that our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah promises us that very soon, he will by means of his son Jesus bring our enemy 'to nothing'. (1Corinthians 15:26) What a wonderful day that will be!
