Edward Dutkiewicz Sr., 75, passed away Friday June 21, 2013, at the Bristol Hospital.
He was born Dec. 12, 1937, the son of the late Joseph and Aurelie R. (Gagne) Dutkiewicz.
Edward was a veteran serving in the Air Force and was employed by Mark V Tool Manufacturing Company for 25 years and he retired 5 years ago.
He was a member of Captain Edmund P. Zbikowski Post No. 2.
He is survived by his partner, Jackie Coffey; his siblings, Edward Dutkiewicz Jr. and his fiancAC., Brenda MacNeil, John and his wife, Susan Dutkiewicz, Patsy-Ann and her husband, Robert Thomas, Tekla Getchell, Nadine Dutkiewicz, Carleen Dutkiewicz and Jeffrey and his wife, Tracy Dutkiewicz; a sister, Phyllis Heath; and nine grandchildren, Brandon Dutkiewicz, Kristine Wilcox, Trisha Birkenberger,Nicholas Birkenberger, Adam Dutkiewicz, Brad Dutkiewicz, Jack Moynihan, Gavin Dutkiewicz and Jake Dutkiewicz.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph, Raymond and Frank, and a sister, Doreen.
Service will be held on Friday, at 4 p.m., at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
