December 5, 1935 — May 24, 2026

Daniel Francis Lodovico, 90, died on May 24, 2026, at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor in New Britain CT. He was the husband of the late Shirley McCarthy Lodovico.

Dan was born in Bristol, CT on December 5, 1935, the youngest and ninth child of the late Lorenzo Lodovico and Michelina Cestare Lodovico. Dan lived much of his life in Bristol and was a member of the first graduating class of St. Anthony High School. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dan served his country with honor and integrity in his role as a Military Policeman.

In retirement, Dan and Shirley relocated to Vero Beach, Florida where they made new friends and enjoyed every day of their retirement. Dan loved to travel and would coordinate bus trips to local casinos. He didn’t gamble on the trips, but he loved to cash in on all the freebies the casinos would provide.
