Diane R. Harrigan

Diane (Rutkowski) Harrigan, 75, wife of Daniel F. Harrigan of Southington, CT passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, after a courageous struggle with cancer.

Diane was born in New Britain, CT, on February 15th 1948 the daughter of the late Alexander and Pauline (Janick) Rutkowski. She was a graduate of New Britain High School and Central Connecticut State University, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. She spent her career in the field of accounting, retiring from Hartford Hospital in 2008.

In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by 2 sons, Daniel A.  (Corinne) of Middletown, CT and David B. (Laura) of Worcester, MA.

She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Emma and Mariaya.

She also leaves behind a brother, Ronald as well as many nieces and nephews.

Diane was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and all things family, especially her holiday gatherings and the many trips to their Cape Cod vacation home.

Her quiet determination and gentle manner will be greatly missed by family and friends.
