Colombo "Dick" Semprini, 96, formerly of Bristol, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, in North Berwick, Maine. He was the husband of Rita (Follandri) Semprini.

Colombo was born in Sagamore, Mass., on July 12, 1915, the son of the late Louis and Concetta (Palducci) Semprini. He lived in Bristol most of his life before he moved to Maine five years ago. He worked for Stanley Manufacturing as a machinist for 17 years and then as co-owner with his wife of Lamp Lighter Antiques where he worked for 35 years until he retired in 1999.

He was a member of St. Anthony Church and was a Chapter member of the Bristol Historical Society.

Beside his wife he is survived by a son, Paul and his wife, Lillian Enright, of Cape Neddick, Maine; a brother, Vincent Semprini of Waterbury; and three grandchildren, Catilin, Zachary and Matthew; plus several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Semprini, and a sister, Jean Rinaldi.



The funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.
