Bettie (St. Peter) Rinkavage, 67, of 65 Shawn Drive, Bristol, passed away, Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. She was the wife of Robert Rinkavage.
She was born in Burlington, Vt., March 29, 1943, the daughter of late Arnold and Ruth (Tero) St. Peter. Bettie worked at General Electric in Plainville for 10 years and BW Manufacturing and Red Cross food court until she retired in 2005.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Brian Wheelock and his wife, Melissa, and Craig Wheelock and his wife, Melissa; a daughter, Lynn LaForest and her husband, Phil, of Bristol; three sisters, Sylvia French and her husband, Robert, of Franklin, N.H., Beverly Smith of Washougal, Wash., and Marge Charbonneau of Brandon, Vt.; a brother-in-law William and his wife, Gayle Rinkavage, of Wolcott; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, Mitchell, Anthony, Hannah, Jake and Sydney; plus many nieces and nephews and special friends.
Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, Saturday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Lung Association, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108-3272.
