BRISTOL - Anna Sobestanovich, 86, of 196 Hull St., passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 at Bristol Hospital.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1919 in Bristol, the daughter of the late Ignatz and Wassa (Trunalewich) Sobestanovich. Anna was employed at E. Ingraham Co., New Department Hyatt Division of General Motors and New Britain General Hospital, where she worked for 34 years before she retired in 1983. She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church in Terryville. She also was a member of the Sisterhood and the"R" Club of the Church. Anna is survived bt two brothers, John and George Sobestanovich; and two sisters, Mary Fill and Luba Sobestanovich, all of Bristol; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Alexander, Nicholas and Walter Sobestanovich. The funeral service will be held Monday, at 10 a.m., at St. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church, 34 Fairfield Ave., Terryville. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Cemetery, Terryville.
