Alyre J. Pelletier
Mr. Alyre J. Pelletier, 87, of 27 Rose St., passed away on Tuesday, January 20 at his home. He was the husband of Annette (Campbell) Pelletier.
He was born in Daigle, Maine on July 29, 1916, the son of the late Edward and Alice (Voisine) Pelletier.
Mr. Pelletier was a veteran in the World War II, US Army.
He was a member of Senior Citizen Center and St. Gregory Church and was an avid pool player.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son Dana Pelletier and his wife, Sandie of Bristol; two daughters and son-in-law, Diane Leonard of Forestville and Cathy and Larry Booska of Bristol; a brother Adrian Pelletier of Wetherfield; two sisters, Mattie Derosier of New Britain and Isabelle Chariete of MA.; six grandchildren, Robert Leonard, Evelyn Poppel, Anthony Booska, Anita Konopaske, T. J. DesChamps, and Melissa Pelletier; three great grandchildren Blaze Konopaske, Jacob and Josiah Poppel.
Several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 am from Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St., Bristol to St. Gregory Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM.
