Anthony M. Velardo
Mr. Anthony M. Velardo, 49, of 20 Matthews St., Terryville, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his home.

Anthony was born in Bristol on October 5, 1962, the son of John and Irene (Perugino) Velardo. He graduated from St. Paul Catholic High School and was a member of St. Anthony Church.

Beside his parents he is survived by several aunts and uncles..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bristol. Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.


In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anthony School, 111 School St. Bristol, CT 06010.

Vincent J. LaColla
Vincent J. LaColla, 80, of Bristol, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at The Pines of Bristol. He was married to Eleanor E. (Canu) LaColla, for 56 years who passed away July 7, 2007. Vincent was born in Bristol on March 12, 1932 son of the late Ignazio and Rose (Urso) LaColla. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy. He worked at Hildreth Press for 30 years and several other binders until his retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony Church, the American Legion Post 2 and Osia Club. He served on the Korean War Veterans Committee, was a Little League Uncle and a school mentor. He is survived by; two sons, Kevin and his wife Laurie LaColla of Bristol and Daryl LaColla of Long Beach, CA. a sister, Anna Matrazzo and a Uncle Benny Urso both of Bristol and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Marion (LaColla) Upchurch.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St Joseph Cemetery. Herby Wilson Clavette
Herby Wilson Clavette, 78, of Wolcott, died at home June 14, 2012. He was the husband of Ramona (Chasse) Clavette. He was born July 23, 1933, in Grand Isle, Maine, the son of the late Ludger and Carmen (Lizotte) Clavette.

He retired as a cabinet maker from Leo's Cabinet in New Britain. He was a member of St. Ann Church in Bristol.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he is survived by a son, David Clavette and Darlene Hovhanessian of Bristol; a daughter, Donna Guest and her husband, Robert, of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Alan, David, Jessica and Angela Guest, Jennifer (Clavette) Aiudi and Matthew Clavette; great-grandchildren, Mason and Madison Aiudi; brothers, Reginald, Reed, Lucien, Guy, Claude and Gene; his sisters, Dorothy, Gilmay, Nancy, Patsy, Linda and Diane; plus many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Gilman, and his sister, Yvette.

A special thanks goes to Jennifer and Perry of Bristol Hospital Hospice for all the help they provided.

Service and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, is in charge of the arrangements.
