Cecilia (Pelletier) Lodovico, 83, of 18 Leslie Court, Bristol died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Wolcott View Manor. She was the wife of Pasquale Lodovico.
Cecilia was born in Bristol, on February 28, 1929 daughter of the late Celestine and Marie (Bilodeau) Pelletier.
She worked for Allied Control in Plantsville for several years before she retired. She was a member of St Anthony Church and the Rosary Society of the Church. She also was a member of Southington Y Seniors.
Besides her husband she is survived by five children; Lawrence Lodovico of CA, Patty Lodovico of New Britain, Philip and his wife a special daughter in-law Patricia Lodovico of Harwinton, Michele and her husband Donald Carriere of Southington and Lisa Anastasi of Bristol. A sister Alphonise "Gert" Halloran of Burlington, a sister in-law Grace Dellabianca of Bristol and brother and sister in-law Florence and Anthony DeAngelo of Bristol, a brother in law, Louis Lodovico of Bristol, Brother and sister in -law Danny and Shirley Lodovico of Bristol. 7 grandchildren, Jesse Futterleib, Tasha Anastasi, Jeremy Anastasi, Cassondra and her husband Justin Clark, Gina Lodovico and Enrico Lodovico and Ryan Carriere. 2 great grandsons, Matthew and Joseph. Plus several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by a son Mark Lodovico and four brothers, Joseph Bilodeau, Paul Pelletier, Albert Pelletier and Frances Pelletier.
A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St Anthony Church. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St Bristol on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery.

Christine Deguzis Christine (Letalien) Deguzis, 66, of 148 Martin Rd., Bristol, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was the widow of Thomas Deguzis.
She was born in Bristol, CT on June 13, 1945 the daughter of the late Alfred and Emma B. (Litke) Letalien.
She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Christine attended local schools and was a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School.
She was devoted mother to her son, Thomas Deguzis, Jr. She is survived by two brothers, Robert G. Letalien of Malone, NY, Ronald Raymond and his wife Priscilla Letalien of Melbourne, FL. and a sister-in-law, Dorie Peterson and her husband Norman of Connecticut as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St. Bristol on March 22, 2012 at 10:00 Am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Lois C. Wagenenecht
Mrs. Lois C. (Zahnke) Wagenknecht, 85, of 88 Fox Den Rd. Bristol, passed away, Tuesday (March 13, 2012) at Hospital of Central CT at Bradley Memorial. She was the wife of William B. Wagenknecht of 53 years.
Lois was born in Bristol, on July 21, 1926 the daughter of the late G. Theodore and Gertrude (Johnson) Zahnke. She lived in Bristol her whole life and worked at Cigna for 10 years in West Hartford. Lois had a strong support for the Bristol Exchange Club plus the CT District Exchange Clubs "Programs of Service" that strives to improve the "Quality of Life" in Bristol and the State of CT.
She was very active in the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, served on many committees and for a period of time served as treasurer. She was a member of two reading clubs, Polymnia Club for over 50 years and many years in the Tuesday Reading Club. She enjoyed many years visiting Pequabuck Golf Club plus riding the golf course with her family and eating out on the deck that over looks the course.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, David and his wife Carol Wagner and Ted Wagenknecht; a brother, Dr. Donald Zahnke of Wethersfield; a sister, Marlene Hoerle formerly of Plainville; five grandchildren, Jeremy Robotham, Kelly Robotham, Jay, Jackie and Merri Wagner; four great grandchildren, Anthony Rosa, Jacob Harvey, Joshua Rosa and Alice Robotham; plus several nieces and nephews. Lois loved her family and was truly dedicated to them and their activities. She was predeceased by a daughter, Heather Robotham. The family would like to thank, The Bristol VNA and the Alzheimer's Resource Center of CT Plantsville, CT for their kindness and support during our Alzheimer journey.
A Memorial service will take place on March 24, 2012 at the First Congregational Church 31 Maple St. Bristol at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Parent and Child Center In partnership with CT District Exchange Clubs 9 Prospect St. Bristol, CT 06010.
