Julio E. Rodriguez
Bristol, Mr. Julio E. Rodriguez, 58, of 68 Ingraham St., Bristol died October 10, 2004 at the Bristol Hospital.
Julio was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on May 1, 1946, the son of the late Julio E. Lugo and Romona Rodriguez.

He was self-employed for over forty years as a handyman.
He is survived by four sons, Julio E. Rodriguez, Jr. and Jorge W., Robert and Bryan Rodriguez; seven daughters, Doris H., Maria I., Olga I., Madeline, Valerie and Maria M. Rodriguez and Glendaliz Bello; a sister, Maria M. Torres; 19 grandchildren, three great-grand children; and niece's and nephew's.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, 4 to 8 PM and Friday 4 to 8 PM. Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 from the 10:00 Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. to St. Joseph Church for A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00, burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol

Ann C. (Mehalczak) Powell
Ann C. (Mehalczak) Powell, 84, formerly of High St., Bristol, passed away Monday – September 27, 2004, at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden. She was the widow of Joseph James Powell. She was born in Whippany, NJ on July 2, 1920, daughter of the late Anna (Mastyk) and Walter Mehalczak.
Ann was a resident of Bristol for 54 years before she moved to Meriden last February to live with her son. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Bristol and a devoted mother of six, who gave of herself and asked for so little in return.

She is survived by five sons, Joseph Powell of Sanford, Me, Theodore Powell of Berlin, Kenneth Powell; Walter Powell and Edward Powell of Meriden; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grand children; a sister Nellie Wolff of NJ; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol.

Mary V. Larese
Bristol, Mary V. Larese, 88, of Park St., passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Sheriden Woods Health Care.
Born in Turners Falls, Mass. on February 18, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Orsola (Larese) and Giovanni Larese.
She moved to Bristol when she was four years old and attended local schools. She was an avid bowler and great swimmer.
She worked at New Departure-Hyatt Division of General Motors for over 30 years before she retired.
Mary was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church.
She is survived by a loving sister, Enese Palermo of Bristol; two nieces Barbara Crowe of Plainville and Marion Grifford of Southington; a nephew Clarence "Butch" Brown; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Julio \"Julie\" Larese and a sister, Elisa L. Brown.

Private funeral will be held on Friday. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol is in charge of Arrangements
