Mrs. Rose Baldaccini
Rose (Velardo) Baldaccini, 96, of Bristol passed away peacefully Monday, May 21, 2012, at the Ingraham Manor. She was the widow of Hugo J. Baldaccini Sr.

Mrs. Baldaccini was born in Bristol Nov. 19, 1915, the daughter of the late Anthony and Vincentia (Gemina) Velardo.

Rose was a resident of Bristol her whole life. She worked at Superior Electric Company for 27 years before she retired in 1980.

Her family was her life, she loved to cook and have everyone at her house to celebrate the holidays. She was a member of St. Anthony Church.



She is survived by a son, Hugo J. Baldaccini Jr. of Bristol; a daughter, Patricia Milosevic of Bristol; a brother, John Velardo of Terryville; three grandchildren, Robert Milosevic, Dante A. Mancuso and Michelle Holland; six great -randchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by a son, Dante A. (Red) Baldaccini; brothers, Rocco, Frank, Dominic, Jimmy and Michael Velardo; and three sisters, Madeline, Rena and Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, Thursday from 8:45 until 9:30 a.m.

Darren P. Roche
It is with great sadness that the Roche family announces the unexpected passing of Darren Patrick Roche, 49 of Bristol Ct. on May 1, 2012. Darren was born July 15, 1962 to Gloria R. Roche and George J. Roche. He attended Bristol Central H.S. and was employed for many years by L.M.C.C. and Quality Coils. Darren was an athlete and sports enthusiast. He played softball with the Bristol Slow Pitch League as a third baseman for many years. He remained an avid Yankees fan, Oakland Raiders football fan and a LA Lakers basketball fan.
Darren leaves behind two daughters, Hannah Roche-Cutler of Bristol and Hilary Roche-Cutler of Glastonbury, his father, George Roche of Bristol, two brothers James Roche of Bristol and Sean Roche of Willimantic, a sister, Tina Yard of Roxbury and several nieces, Shannon Roche, Brittany Roche, Erica Yard and Asia Russell. He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Rena Quintero-Roche. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service and reception will be held Saturday, May 12th from 12 - 4 pm at Nuchies 164 Central St. Bristol Ct.

Colombo Semprini
Colombo "Dick" Semprini, 96, formerly of Bristol, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, in North Berwick, Maine. He was the husband of Rita (Follandri) Semprini.

Colombo was born in Sagamore, Mass., on July 12, 1915, the son of the late Louis and Concetta (Palducci) Semprini. He lived in Bristol most of his life before he moved to Maine five years ago. He worked for Stanley Manufacturing as a machinist for 17 years and then as co-owner with his wife of Lamp Lighter Antiques where he worked for 35 years until he retired in 1999.

He was a member of St. Anthony Church and was a Chapter member of the Bristol Historical Society.

Beside his wife he is survived by a son, Paul and his wife, Lillian Enright, of Cape Neddick, Maine; a brother, Vincent Semprini of Waterbury; and three grandchildren, Catilin, Zachary and Matthew; plus several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Semprini, and a sister, Jean Rinaldi.



The funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m., from Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.
